This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.  

 

Position: Event Staff Member

Location: Wailuku, HI 

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $16/hour 

Experience: Previous customer service experience preferred; no minimum amount of experience required. 

Type: Full-time; Contract 

Schedule:  

  1. Thursday (October 1): 5:00pm to 11:00pm
  2. Friday (October 2): 5:00pm to 12:00am
  3. Saturday (October 3): 10:00am to12:00am
  4. Sunday (October 4): 10:00am to 11:00pm

  

Employers Options is seeking an Event Staff Member to join a growing and dynamic team!   

  

Job Description:   

  1. Greet guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
  2. Assist guests with general questions, directions, and other related information.
  3. Help maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
  4. Monitor assigned areas and notify supervisors of any concerns or issues.
  5. Assist with event activities, booths, games, or other operations as assigned.
  6. Help ensure guests follow rules and safety procedures.
  7. Work cooperatively with other staff and supervisors.
  8. Assist with setup, organization, and breakdown of assigned areas as needed.
  9. Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude throughout each shift.
  10. Perform other event-related duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:    

  1. Must be available to work during the Fair dates of October 1–4, 2026.
  2. Evening and weekend availability may be required depending on the assigned schedule.
  3. Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.
  5. Comfortable working in a busy, outdoor event environment.
  6. Ability to stand and remain active for multiple hours at a time.
  7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
