$22/hour - Rental Equipment Maintenance & Utility Worker

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.  

 

Position: Rental Equipment Maintenance & Utility Worker 

Location: Honolulu, HI 

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $22/hour 

Experience: Prior experience operating heavy or construction equipment is a plus

Education: High school diploma or GED required 

Type: Full-time; Temp to hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

  

Employers Options is seeking a Rental Equipment Maintenance & Utility Worker to join a growing and dynamic team!   

  

Job Description:   

  1. Handle pre- and post-rental equipment (hours, fuel, damage, safety decals)
  2. Assist with minor equipment repairs (oil, grease, fluids, electrical, AC, plumbing)
  3. Help with preventative maintenance and fleet upkeep
  4. Clean equipment and handle rental-ready staging
  5. Manage oil changes, lubrication, tire replacements, hose and battery repairs for equipment
  6. Operate forklifts and boom lifts
  7. Document work orders and verify delivery tickets
  8. Organize the yard and work areas


Position Requirements:    

  1. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required
  2. Forklift certification preferred (can be trained on site)
  3. Boom lift certification a plus
  4. Must be comfortable working at heights
  5. Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance independently
  6. Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
