Position: Rental Equipment Maintenance & Utility Worker
Location: Honolulu, HI
Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $22/hour
Experience: Prior experience operating heavy or construction equipment is a plus
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Type: Full-time; Temp to hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
Employers Options is seeking a Rental Equipment Maintenance & Utility Worker to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Handle pre- and post-rental equipment (hours, fuel, damage, safety decals)
- Assist with minor equipment repairs (oil, grease, fluids, electrical, AC, plumbing)
- Help with preventative maintenance and fleet upkeep
- Clean equipment and handle rental-ready staging
- Manage oil changes, lubrication, tire replacements, hose and battery repairs for equipment
- Operate forklifts and boom lifts
- Document work orders and verify delivery tickets
- Organize the yard and work areas
Position Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required
- Forklift certification preferred (can be trained on site)
- Boom lift certification a plus
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance independently
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
